ERDAMS FKM UMJ Becomes a Health Team at PKKMB UMJ

 Emergency Response in Disaster and Medical Service (ERDAMS)  , University of Muhammadiyah Jakarta (FKM  ) participated as a health team in the 2023 UMJ Introduction to New Student Campus Life (PKKMB) activity. PKKMB was held at campus A Cirendeu for five days. The ERDAMS follows a four-day series, Monday-Thursday, (18-21/09/23).

PKKMB UMJ itself has 4 types of event series, namely PKKMB University, UKM EXPO, Masta Ortom, and PKKMB Faculty. A health team is needed during PKKMB activities to maintain participants' immune system during the event.

ERDAMS itself has several fields such as the KGWD (Emergency) Field which is divided into several field groups and clinics. General Chair of ERDAMS FKM UMJ, Raihan Ali, mentioned several health problems during PKKMB including headaches, stomach ulcers, shortness of breath, nausea and twisting.

In total there were 34 new students who experienced illness on both the first and third days. For the fourth day, ERDAMS served as the PKKMB FKM health team. ERDAMS' involvement as a health team at PKKMB UMJ is not the first time. In the previous year, ERDAMS was also trusted to be the 2022 PKKMB UMJ health team.
