Postgraduate School Visit Selangor International Islamic University

 Lecturers  at the graduate school of the  Muhammadiyah Univertiy Of Jakarta visited Universiti Islam Internasional Selangor Malaysia (UIS), Friday (15/09/2023). The visit was carried out in the context of Visiting Professor and signing of the cooperation sheet between UMJ and UIS. 

On this occasion the visit was received by the Director of Postgraduate Studies at UIS, Dr. Hairol Anwar Mak Din. Hairol tells about the history of the UIS campus which was originally called Kolej Universiti Islam Internasional Selangor Malaysia (KUIS).

With these changes, Hairol hopes to collaborate with several campuses in Indonesia in the fields of teaching, research and community service. SPs UMJ represented by Dr. H. Zainal Arif, and Dr. Hj. Zulfitria Zaidir expressed her gratitude and expressed her gratitude for the welcome given by UIS.

"Thank God, this meeting went well, it became a historical record for us in the context of friendship and cooperation. Thanks to Dr. "Hairol Anwar Mak Din and his staff for the hospitality provided," said Zainal.

The cooperation carried out by both parties covers the fields of education, research and community service. Hairol said that the next meeting is planned to be held in November 2023 as a follow-up to the collaboration. Apart from UMJ, another Indonesian university that was part of the visiting group was STIPI Maghfira Bogor.

It is hoped that this collaboration will make it easier for students from Indonesia, especially from UMJ, who are continuing their master's or doctoral studies at UIS. Likewise, Malaysian students can study in the Doctoral Study Program at UMJ.
