Cebba: UMJ is the first campus to implement IKU at PTMA

Drs. Abdul Cebba, AK., M.BA., CA., CPA., said that UMJ was the first campus within  to implement the Main Performance Index (IKU). Cebba conveyed this at the IKU signing ceremony at the Faculty of Education Auditorium, Thursday (14/09/2023). 

“IKU di UMJ ini akan menjadi model atau rujukan untuk seluruh PTMA. Sistem ini akan mengedepankan tata kelola dan target-target yang luar biasa. Tentunya, hal itu terkait dengan kinerja setiap Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) dan utamanya lagi, kinerja perguruan tinggi untuk dicapai oleh setiap unit,” jelas Cebba saat ditemui diakhir acara penandatanganan IKU.

IKU merupakan dasar individu dalam berkinerja mulai rektor, wakil rektor, pimpinan di lingkungan rektorat maupun fakultas. Dalam penerapan IKU akan terlihat pencapaian dalam satu tahun dan dapat menjadi bahan evaluasi .

Menurut Cebba, keberhasilan IKU harus dicapai dengan menurunkannya kepada seluruh pimpinan di UMJ. “Harapannya adalah bagaimana mendorong ketercapaian baik IKU yang dituangkan dari PP Muhammadiyah, maupun untuk rencana strategis, termasuk visi-misi UMJ,” tambah Cebba.

Furthermore, Cebba explained that togetherness needed to be built in order to achieve IKU. Because, IKU is a modern system that has been built in other universities. "Therefore, UMJ is the first campus to run this system within the PTMA environment, so that we can move towards a world class university , including building a modern Islamic civilization," said Cebba.

Finally, he emphasized that everything that was built was for the good of UMJ, not for personal gain. He also hopes that this program will become a culture so that every leader is required to contribute to the progress of UMJ.
