FISIP UMJ Students Elected as General Treasurer of PP IPM

 Alwan Akbar Jaya, a student  (FISIP UMJ) was elected General Treasurer  (PP IPM) for the 2023-2025 period. Alwan officially became part of the management of PP IPM based on the decisions of the 23rd IPM Congress on 18-20 August 2023 in Medan. 

The best humans are those who can benefit other humans. This understanding is the basis for Alwan to continue learning and developing himself. "First, I want to learn as much as possible so that I am more familiar with the field of youth development, especially students, because I feel reborn after being processed at IPM," said Alwan.

On the same occasion, Alwan also said that his reason for joining the IPM organization was to perfect his service and desire to complete what had been the hopes and aspirations that had been built since he first served at IPM.  

Furthermore, he hopes that by being elected as the Central Leader of IPM it will be of benefit to the community, especially the surrounding environment, parents, and friends. Alwan has been in the process of nine years at IPM since 2015.

Previously he had participated in the Youth Cadre Training for Young Cadres Melati I which was held by the Leaders of the IPM Laburan Branch. Over time, he was also entrusted with becoming chairman of the Turikale IPM PC in 2016 and became an administrator for the IPM Regional Leadership and IPM Regional Leadership before joining the IPM Central Leadership.

Apart from IPM, Alwan is a student who previously actively joined various organizations during his school days such as the Student Council Chair, the Indonesian Youth National Committee (KNPI), Karang Taruna and the Muhammadiyah Student Association (IMM).
